Tired of his lies, she accuses him of working late at the office and throws him out of the house. Dragging his suitcase behind him, he retreats back to a waiting car. Inside sits his boss, who has been part of the conspiracy to conceal the truth from his wife…

A comedy is a departure from the normal kinds of films I make. Working Late has been a great experience where I benefitted from the skills of a great team.
David Gilbank is an experienced, multi-award winning advertising copywriter who has worked for a number of UK and Australian radio groups, advertising agencies and also spent time in journalism and PR. He started writing film screenplays in 2010 and his first speculative TV script, 606 – an exciting thriller set amongst Asian drug gangs in Bradford – was optioned by Storyboard TV in New York. His first feature film script ‘Cull’ won the Hollywood Independent Producers Award, Astoria Film Festival and Long Island Film Festival – Best Horror Script. Recently his screenplay The White House Haunting has won several international awards and continues to do well on the 2016 festival circuit. His short film, Polterheist has been successfully received on the 2016 festival circuit, while his most recent film Working Late has also won several awards
