Born in Amol, Iran on December 26, 1976, Mohammad Hadi Naeiji has studied and taught Philosophy for more than 20 years. He has research interests in philosophy and aesthetics. He has worked as assistant director with Behrouz Afkhami and now works as scriptwriter and director. He has also written and directed a mini-series in Lebanon, and hosted various talk shows with philosophical themes on IRIB. His first film "Voice of Silence" has been nominated in Fajr International Film Festival for best film and best first film director and won the Crystal Simorgh for best screenplay.
