'Ayaymama' is the name given both to an Amazonian legend and a bird. Legend has it that the singing of the bird is actually the cry of children that were abandoned by their parents in the jungle and are trying to be found. The story is about a doctor who travels to the jungle from the city to help a native community in its development. He has lost his young son and wants to find inner peace in a place, which hides harsh realities that oppress the Amazonian world. The protagonist must fight against the psychological torment that brought him not being able to prevent the death of his son, and, at the same time, move forward with his goal despite the obstacles presented by the jungle.
