Ghost of My Child

Synopsis:

"Ghost of My Child"

Genre: Mystery thriller

Logline:
A claustrophobic veteran fights for his brain-dead daughter—the only person who could bring him out of his coma.

Synopsis:
RICK lives with STELLA, his sister in law after his wife FAITH ended up in psychiatry. Rick's master in origami daughter PIPER, for some reason, sees only Rick, which does not obstruct ZAIN, who came with Stella, to snoop in Piper's room. Rick takes care of an animal shelter together with Piper while back at home, Stella forces Rick to take his pills and even threatens him with the institution.
Zain helps Rick by replacing Rick's pills with candy duplicates and Stella schemes with her lawyer to sell Rick's animal shelter when she finds out about Rick's "candy" pills, threatening Rick with the police. On the verge of losing everything, Rick overdoses and is saved by Zain. Stella plans to sell the animal shelter to buy a luxury home and leave Faith in a downtrodden institution. Rick does what Stella demands, he burns Piper's origami and the treehouse which Faith and Piper built. He visits Faith and ends through Stella's intervention in a padded cell where Piper visits and reminds him of his promise to her mother.
In a patient's room, Faith and Piper observe the patient's final moments after Stella pulls the plug on his machines. The joint power of a mother and her daughter helps the patient to return from his coma and presents his face, Rick's face. Stella goes berserk and ends up in a padded cell while Faith returns to her family, where Rick reveals her and Piper, a new family member, Zain, a son Faith always wanted to have.
