Morning Shots

Synopsis:

The story is based on a true event during the Iraq War in 1991. At night, soldiers were alerted by the noise detectors in the restricted military area. Through a night-vision device they saw an unidentified object coming closer. So they were firing warning shots but the object moved closer anyway. Soldier Zak was ordered to shoot down the object. He followed the order. At sunrise he recognized the place with the object that he has shot. It was the deaf farmer from the neighboring village with his donkey. The farmer could not hear any warnings. For the film, we transferred the true story in Iraq to an apocalyptic wasteland, which symbolizes the inner destruction of the soldier.
