Synopsis: 

It is an ethnographic film on Gonds of Bastar, one of the largest indigenous groups of South Asia, whose ancestry maybe traced to early African humans through various anthropological elements.It is a nearly comprehensive study on the Gond Tribes of Bastar done via participant observation and quasi participant observation to put across an amalgamation of emic as well etic perspective via the audiovisual tools of filmmaking, presenting a combined objective-subjective hypothesis of Gond culture and culture of ethnographic filmmaking. The film includes various elements that constitute a culture of an indigenous group, such as history, rock paintings, livelihood, music & dance, education system, birth/marriage/death ceremony, ancestral spirit calling etc.
