Short Synopsis :

A young detective is torn apart after his wife ends up in a coma while hunting a serial-killer at the same time.

Long Synopsis: 
A promising detective, Ryan Barnes, arrives home on his anniversary to find his wife’s been in a devastating car accident.  Seven months later she’s still in a coma and Barnes, unable to accept her condition, throws himself into a manhunt for a serial killer targeting  the elderly.  As he desperately searches for the killer, Barnes’ doubts increase. Do the motives fit the killer he’s chasing?
The film stars Hannah Waddingham (Game of Thrones, Les Miserables), Michael Mckell (Allied), Ian Pirie (The Dark Knight) and Alan Ford (Lock Stock, Snatch) and rising star Matt Hookings.




Information for the Audience: 

The film touches upon themes such as Alzeimer's and Dementia - two of the biggest killers in the world right now and a difficult illness to cure.

 Winter Ridge was independently produced and took 17 days to film and was finished within a year from script to screen.  Since then it has won 12 awards at international festivals, 10 of which for best feature film, and the producers achieved cinema distribution in the UK to over 30 cinemas themselves.
