Whipping boy

Synopsis:

A film about our inability to reveal our emotional scars to one another and the lengths we’ll go to hide them, “Whipping Boy” centers on Brian: a lonely twenty-something who makes his living as a punching bag for strangers to take out their repressed anger on. Meanwhile, he tries to get closer with Michelle, a bartender whose marriage is on the rocks. But their relationship is complicated when he discovers Michelle is his newest “client”. Brian prods into her personal life, while slowly revealing details of his own, hoping for once to build a connection outside the physical abuse he endures in his trade.
