Jo Squillo is an Italian journalist, singer and song writer.Her career began in the music world, in which she proved to be very cutting edge, bringing to Italy a strong irreverent surge of totally feminine punk. She took part in international events, such as the Frankfurt 'Rock against Racism', side by side with the biggest names of the new-wave.She partecipated in a lot of important musical programs and shows, in which she performed with artists such as Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Bon Jovi etc.Since 1998, Jo is author and presenter of Tv Moda, the first Italian channel about fashion, lifestyles, music, beauty, luxury and glamour. She is also an activist for women rights and has written many songs and promoted projects in defence of women against violence. One of her recent initiatives, started 3 years ago, is 'Wall of Dolls', which is the topic of this documentary.
