THE WAITING GAME

Synopsis:

A troupe of Irish actors have played the same parts in Samuel Beckett's 'Waiting for Godot' for 20 years. To mark the anniversary, they take their production of a 5,000 mile tour of Ireland - playing 40 different venues in 40 nights. As the gruelling tour progresses, we learn about Beckett, and his play. But, perhaps, most about the actors - and a profession which is simultaneously serious and playful, make-believe and real, heroic and absurd.
