Logline: A pure-hearted teen searches for her cousin who’s caught in the crossfire of a disgruntled moralist.
As the summer approaches, high school graduate, JODI,17, is indecisively overwhelmed with her next steps in life. Jodi decides to take a break from it all by spending the summer in Houston, Texas with her aunt LISA, 45, and cousin SHAUNTEE, 16. After Jodi’s arrival, she spends quality time with her aunt while Shauntee attends choir rehearsal at Loving Baptist Church. A vacation that was thought out to be everything and more turns into a major tragedy.
As Lisa and Jodi arrive at Loving Baptist, an unknown young lady approaches them with terrible news about an encounter that takes place inside the church. While searching for Shauntee, Jodi loses her aunt in the midst of the commotion. She unknowingly runs into MR MORRIS, 45, the janitor at Loving Baptist Church who’s carrying a gun. The clash between the two of them sends Jodi on a non returnable journey.
