Straneke Havînê (“A Summer Song”) potrays a day in the family of a seasonal field worker who leaves in the summer months his hometown Urfa to work in the Gölbaşı district of Ankara. The documentary not only brings the topic of seasonal field work to the agenda but also aims to raise the awareness of a societal strata where child work and unregistered work continues to be widespread. Through the viewfinder the audience visually explores their daily life 'in-the-making' and genuine as first-hand observers.
