Man stuck in faith & superstitious in that result we are tried to explain in shirpa movie. shambhu & shalu love each other but so many years of their marriage, they are not bless with baby. They do farming for their bread & butter. shambhu’s mother is orthodox by thinking & she believe in superstition. She treats shalu badly because not having child. For that shambhu leave the house with shalu & settle in out of village.but shalu wants to become mother. She ready to do anything for get baby & for that she cry & frustrated. shambhu try to handle & explain her. Shalu come to know by one lady ( joktin) that shalu didn’t complete goddess rituals therefore she couldn’t be a mother. She guides to sacrifice goat life to complete goddess ritual for baby. Shalu share lady’s suggestion to shambhu & convince him to sacrifice goat life for baby. But shambhu doesn’t have faith on these rituals. But in love, he ready to do that. They buy calf due to insufficient of money & fetch goat to house. They decide to give his life to next (fair)jatra. But they start to love & get close to goat. Shambhu & shalu give name SHIRPA to goat. When time comes to scarifies goat at godess , both get nervous & hesitate
Shambhu doesn’t want to sacrifice shirpa’s life. He brings shirpa in jatra to release instead of take his life. Shambhu hides the truth from shalu & she creates fancies dream with her child. Her dream get vanish when she come to know that shirpa is alive & she try to kill shirpa & get unconscious. Doctor examine shalu & she come to know that she is pregnant. Shalu realize her mistake & she apologies to shirpa for her superstition. Here movie come to end with message be faithful not be a superstitious.
