Rino works with his father at a shipyard.

Luciano, Rino’s best friend, pays daily visits to him along with his girlfriend Maia.
Rino, though, appears different from what he used to be: he tends to avoid his friends and he does not speak as much. He is often busy in meeting a person that never shows up, only apologising to him through voice messages.
Luciano and Maia react quite differently to Rino’s behaviour: while his long-time friend Luciano shows him a dedicated support aimed at helping him quit, Maia is resentful of all the attention that her beloved gives to Rino instead of her.
While the couple goes through a hard time and Rino continues to chase after this mysterious woman, his father will fix the situation in his own way.
