Yasuo, a member of an acting troupe faces charges for assaulting a college girl (Yuki) he met at a blind-date party. Being drunk and having no memories of the night, Yasuo fails to fight the accusations. Although Yasuo settles the case out of the court with his parents’ financial support, his acting troupe suffers the reputational damage caused by the incident. Facing the conflicts with his family and peers, Yasuo feels abandoned and conceals himself. Meanwhile, Yuki develops an irrational aversion to her unemployed father. Also being hurt by the insensitive remarks of her best friends and fiancé, she vanishes into the thin air. Around the same time, two members from Yasuo’s acting troupe confess the leader that they are the true culprits of the incident. The leader asks them not to reveal the truth, but one of the troupe members Midori, overhears the conversation and tells it to Yuki’s best friend, Misato. It turns out that Misato’s boyfriend is one of the offenders. While cornering her boyfriend about the incident, Misato finds out that he was lying about his feelings for her and she stabs him with a fruit knife. In despair, Yuki almost jumps off from an overpass. Yasuo catches her hand and the two disappears in the dark.
