Synopsis:
Ava joins a girl gang when ZOE signs for a tour with the army, and their mother GRACE falls into depression, which speeds up her disease. Ava takes Grace to the Army Doctor WILSON, who explains Ava that her mother is near the late-stage of her Alzheimer.
Ava feels betrayed and abandoned by all when DYLAN steps in as her lawyer when Ava gets in the line of fire of the child protection services. Grace continually forgets Ava or mistakes her for Zoe and Ava does her best to help her, but the official from child protection services is as hard as nails. Ava reunites with Zoe, now in a coma, as a result of an attack on the convoy with which Zoe returned to help Grace. Ava blames herself for everything, from her mother’s disease to Zoe’s coma, and departs on the road to self-destruction.
Ava learns more about her mother’s disease and observes how her mother’s personality fades right in front of her. To prove she can live with her daughter, Grace must do a simple thing for Ava, “Say my name, Mom.” Unfortunately, Grace only repeats Zoe, until Zoe returns, awakened from her coma and unites with Ava as two daughters who take care of their mother, as Grace did for them through their childhood.
