RAHELA

Synopsis: 

Uka, the Albanian Muslim and Rahela the Jewish woman, are in love with each-other in a very messy and unfortunate time that the Second World War brings to them. Two dreaming creature, who loves always the same thing, to be sacrificed for others and to fight with the last breath to survive in the name of love. Rahela looses her family during the Nazis campaign while they were cleansing the city from Jewish people. Uka, being mobilized from Nazism’s also looses his only son because he helps Rahela’s family. Uka and Rahela survives the period of Fascism with to much sacrifice and enters to the period of Communism, also an inimical time for them. Always conquered with love and pain, Uka and Rahela, challenge the cruel realities with an inexplicable strength that goes beyond the reason and submit the passion for the only and the most precious thing in the world- that is called life.
