Synopsis:
America prepares for MPASI, a worldwide plague that wipes out children age 3 to 15. Developed by the Arab MALIK and DESTINY, The Upgrade, America’s weapon against Mpasi, erases children’s memory every 36 hours and prevents Mpasi from becoming active.
Destiny intervenes in an incident and helps Betty, who remembers details of her mother, which seems impossible since she belongs to Project Future. ISAAC trains children from Project Future, and WYATT controls the medical part of The Upgrade and searches for Mpasi’s patient zero. Destiny upgrades Betty, who, against all logic, again remembers details of her mother while other countries pressure on Wyatt because America keeps The Upgrade available only to Americans. ROSCOE holds the city hostage and blackmails Destiny to follow him to OMAR, one of “The four riders of the apocalypse,” the group that released Mpasi in Europe.
Destiny finds out what hides behind Mpasi when Malik receives a video from himself that reveals he is one of the Four riders of the apocalypse. Malik wiped out his memory to gain him access to the USA and to show the world what it means to kill defenseless children. Destiny safely returns home to her daughter, Betty, when Chinese and Russians pop up at the U.S. coastline, all with the same mission, to get The Upgrade.
