The Pamphlet

Synopsis:

October 1944. Allied forces determine to destroy the sea-dikes of the Netherlands. Their first target is the coastal village of occupied Westkapelle. Pamphlets warning the citizens of the impending danger fall into the hands of two young lovers on a secret rendezvous in the dunes. They rush back to their homes to sound the alarm. Janna desperately tries to convince her over-protective father of this time-sensitive message. Her mother's recent death has worsened the communication with her father, and he refuses to budge. Meanwhile her lover Willem seeks refuge and safety elsewhere.
