This is a story about unrequited love between a prostitute and a street hawker in Kolkata, India. The story unfolds in a way when a young guy leave his childhood lover behind and embark on a new journey to fulfill his family obligations. The disheartened young girl falls under the trap of a pimp who forces her to work as a prostitute. Years later, they meet once again and the girl finds out that the boy is married and has a daughter who is suffering from Thalassemia.
