Synopsis:
After LAILA, a Syrian orphan saves her life, ALICE, the next First Lady, convinces BARDON, the President-elect, to adopt Laila, who joins them in a safe house where they live after someone poisoned their home. Laila finds a friend in CAPRICE and an enemy in MILO, both adopted by Alice while HARDEN takes care of their security.
Laila secretly communicates with her tutor and prepares a getaway for someone that will arrive shortly. She helps Caprice with her animal project while Milo tries to outsmart Laila, finds her messages, and cannot decode them. Laila receives the last instructions for her mission while Bardon prepares a high-end meeting in the safe house to calm down the situation in the country.
Laila’s surprise takes out the whole house, and Laila meets her death-believed brother ZAAHID, who came with a suicide vest. Laila assembles the last pieces of the puzzle, realizes she was brainwashed, and confronts the man who killed her parents. She avenges her parents with Harden’s help and saves the next First Family and her brother.
