It's follows eight stories of individuals dealing with waking up next to someone new or familiar and how they handle their need for instant gratification, intimacy issues and infidelities.

Shanra J. Kehl, a Wisconsin native, attended Montana State University to study Film and Photography. After two years in Bozeman, she transferred to Columbia College Chicago to continue study Cinematography. At CCC, she produced and shot a short film called Paradise Lounge, which won almost a dozen festivals. Shanra continued to work in Chicago on indie films until she moved to Los Angeles to work as Phedon Papamichael’s camera intern on the film Idenitity. Following her internship, Shanra followed the DP path and continued to shoot indie films, docu-series shows, reality shows and two documentaries for Paramount Pictures, SHOWTIME, BRAVO, A&E, MTV, CBS, and many other networks. She has also directed two shorts, Manscaping and The Clock. Manscaping won a half a dozen film festivals and was picked up by Shorts International for distribution. After having success with all of the shorts she’s produced and shot, she’s continuing her career with producing, writing, directing and DPing her first directorial debut, The Morning After.

I think everyone can relate to this film in one way or another. We all want something other than what we have or lust after what we think we want. I hope people leave the theater thinking more about their actions and how they affect others.
