« The Marseillaises, the Nation’s wealth »

Synopsis:

This film is a rare portrait of women from the most deprived areas of Marseille in France.

When the places they live in are usually depicted as inaccessible  because of gangs and drug trafficking, these women demonstrate how wise, intellectually articulate and brave they are.

They question the prejudice usually associated with the world they live in and inspire us to go forward positively.

This film is an invitation to consider the extraordinary wealth they represent
for France.
