Synopsis:
GRACE’s asthmatic son, MAX, helps out in a veteran’s home and his sister FAITH, in an animal shelter while Grace’s new husband, COX, controls everything in his city, dead or alive. Grace helps in the community kitchen, where HUNTER’s gang member, INK, induces a fight with ED, an army veteran, and the autistic NUMBER, who belongs to a women gang, led by DESTINY.
Max and Faith get into a fight at their school, which produces a confrontation between Cox and Max. Faith intervenes and almost kills Cox with a gun, used at a double murder. Max coldcocks Cox, which forces Grace to call Destiny for help. Cox ends in a hospital in a coma and Grace, and her children spend a peaceful night at their new home. Police arrest Grace’s children for attempted murder and Grace confronts Cox, returned from the dead, and ready to continue where he left a day before.
Grace and Max find a desecrated Faith and Max, in pure desperation, escapes to the veteran’s home, while Grace and Faith visit Destiny. Grace is determinate to do anything to protect her children. To do that, she must first learn how to kill.
