Filmed entirely in single frames over a three year period in 16mm using pixillation, flicker, and time-lapse photography, Light Study explores the ecosystems of the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Here nature presides over an ephemeral human element, its primordial essence both medium and agent of light's eternal change. Soundtrack by Graham Stewart of Viosac, the experimental music collective.
