Based on the five book series, Life Chest Adventures blends the magical feel of Harry Potter with the exotic adventures of Tomb Raider. It tells the story of a girl named April who loves hearing stories of the adventures her Grandpa Josh and Uncle Bernie went on in their youth. During their travels, they collected artifacts that were stored in the Life Chests that they own, which are used to honor the legacy of one’s family. For generations, the Life Chests were said to hold a magical secret that could manipulate time and space, but after spending years failing to manifest this magic, and nearly destroying the family in the process, they gave up hope.

Years later during April’s 8th Birthday party, Grandpa Josh discovers she is the key to unlocking the magic of the Life Chest. He takes on the task of teaching her how to harness her abilities, all while keeping the gift hidden from her unforgiving family. As more of her powers are revealed, her beloved “Uncle” Bernie haphazardly unlocks a parallel magic in the Life Chest that suddenly zaps him back into an ancient land. Not knowing what caused the disappearance of Uncle Bernie, the family is thrown into further disrepair. Grandpa Josh convinces April to use her powers to enlist the aid of the younger versions of him and Bernie. The trio then sets out on a time travelling adventure to save the elder Uncle Bernie, and their equally important family legacy.
