Matia, an underprivileged kid, flees to a group of islands of the Parana River and finds work as a ranch helper for “El Correntino”, a rancher from the area. A romance with the rancher's daughter, La Gaby, creates tension between both men regressing Matia's to his unlawful past.
With little to lose, Matia does not question the path forward even sensing that maybe all he finds is tragedy once again.
