Half of the population in Western society suffers from being overweight. Cardio-vascular disease and cancer are epidemic. Our meat consumption has quintupled over the past
50 years. 65 billion land animals are being slaughtered every year for food consumption. One third of the grain grown worldwide is being fed to animals for fattening. At the same time globally 1.8 billion people are suffering from starvation. Is it possible that there is a simple solution for all of these problems?

Nina Messinger, author and creator of Hope for All, a 100-minute documentary, has spent the past three years traveling throughout Europe, India, and the United States, researching our various dietary lifestyles. She has met with well-known physicians, nutritionists, veterinarians, behavioral scientists, activists, agronomists and farmers. In balancing out her research, Nina has also spoken at length with patients who have recovered from severe illnesses by changing their diets.

Using deeply moving visuals as well as personal stories, Hope for All shows us that a plant-based diet is not a passing lifestyle fad but that it is necessary to ensure the preservation of our world as a whole.
