It’s just like the difference that exists between Fast Food and Slow Food: would you rather have a hamburger in 5 minutes, or a steak while sitting at a table sipping a glass of good wine? The World in Slow Motion means taking your time to observe, participating in what you’re documenting and having great fun trying not to get lost in the middle of nowhere. The first Adventure has been organized in Ethiopia: 3 Tuk Tuks, 3 Teams, 11 travelers, 18 days of Adventure, more than 2500 km across southern Ethiopia to discover the ethnic groups of the Omo valley, promoting road safety and visiting charity projects along the way. The mission? Have fun while promoting a slow and responsible way of traveling. The record? Be the first in the history to reach the Omo River on board of three-wheeler.The documentary is based on spontaneity and genuineness of the participants who were selected from among thousands of candidates. Each of them has had a role in the production, but with freedom to say their thoughts and tell their experience without rules: the script was built by the travelers themselves along the way.The World in Slow Motion is committed to promote road safety worldwide.
