Information for the Audience:
For as long as I remember, movies have been somewhat a blessed time for me and my family. Friday night equaled movie night and there is truly no other experience quite like watching a rich drama or epic adventure with the ones you love more than anything. My family have been and will forever be my core inspiration in everything I do. My father saves lives on a daily bases and my mother inspires them through hard times while making them embrace their inner and external beauty.
I strongly stand by the belief that human beings are walking and breathing stories waiting to be unfold for the world to see and hear, and that those stories are part of the largest domino game imaginable. We are all connected, one way or another, and the choices that are made by a man, woman or child on the other side of mother earth does indeed have great effect on me and every other person.
'Ephemeral' is a movie that tells the stories of two separate people and how they in the most horrifying of circumstances are connected due to choices made. It puts emphasize on my strong believe that our world doesn't simply consist of heroes or villains, but rather of people with different experiences and ways of handling the reasons for any action taken; emotions.
We are all very fragile and shouldn't take ourselves and one another for granted. Our protagonist, Sydney, and her antagonist in the short film are examples of being two sides of the same coin and how the coin flip has an effect on both sides regardless of where it lands.
