Dysphoria: Inside The Mind of a Holocaust Survivor

Synopsis:

'Dysphoria: Inside The Mind of a Holocaust Survivor' is a beautiful exploration of persecution, fear and hope, told through sensory cinema. The film immerses the audience in the world, the mind and the emotions of 83 year old survivor Ladislaus Löb. Viewers are taken on a cinematic, visual and aural journey from his hometown Marghita to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp through to Brighton today. 'Dysphoria' poetically reveals what it is like for Ladislaus to process his past; resurfacing raw and painful memories which, to him, constantly change, rising and falling like the ebb and flow of the ocean.
