Dance With Somebody

Synopsis: 

In Busan, South Korea’s second largest city, a recently graduated LGBTQ activist named, Taeyeon, has dedicated his life to changing the perceptions Koreans have of the gay community. He is the founder of QUIP, Queer in PNU, Busan’s first gay student union and often organizes LGBTQ awareness campaigns. He is a relentless fighter for his beliefs and a champion for the cause of gay rights, also one of the very few people brave enough to come out on camera, something which in South Korea may have devastating consequences. This year Taeyeon is not only helping organize the 5th Annual Drag Prom Charity Ball but will also participate in the lip-synching competition with his partner, Jonny. Dance With Somebody is a film which follows two young and gay Korean men who are preparing to go drag in the days leading up to the big event.
