Dad’s Best Dates

Synopsis:

“Dad’s Best Dates”

Half-hour sitcom pilot.

Logline:

Two over-adventurous daughters send their freshly divorced daddy onto a dating crusade, regardless of whose bones they must break to achieve their goal.

Synopsis:

DAVID’s daughters, ARIANNA and RUBY, decide they want a new mommy while David runs a diner with his coworkers from Korea, the cook LEE, and KIM, who knows more ways to make money than Wall Street to lose it.

Ruby and Arianna come to the diner to pick David’s first date when Arianna realizes that Lee is way too happy at his work (when Lee is happy, the guests in the restaurant usually end in a hospital). Ruby‘s idea, “Let’s make Lee mad, and our guests are safe.” After Arianna tries that in her diplomatic way and fails, Ruby executes her “do it, or feel it” style, with enormous success. David realizes that Lee’s menu with “Pizza-cat” was not a joke when a cat zooms from the kitchen and Lee with a knife right after her.

David’s blind date turns out as a 65 years old woman that did some Photoshopping on the dating website. Ruby and Arianna realize that their dating project will take some extra work. They hook up David with their neighbor and some of Lee’s food, unsure if this food will bring them closer together or closer to a hospital.
