A meta-theatrical telling of the tale of Desmond and Molly Jones (of “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” fame), a pair of Christmas-loving lovers who were born feet away from one another in a remote barn on Christmas Day. The elderly Desmond Jones (known affectionately as Christmas Pops because of the nature of his birth) leads us through a tale of youthful romance, war, family and loss through a series of vignettes punctuated by popular Christmas music, an original tune and the Beatles classic song.
