After several years wandering, Cakra returns to his small village. After his homecoming, he finds out that his Village lost its peace because of the upcoming dry season. The declining health of the leader of the village made it worst and forces his son, who is Cakra, to lead in the midst of the catastrophe. His closes friends, Birawa and Laksmi who are siblings, presence strengthen Cakra through hard times. Birawa sees that her sister and Cakra are happy together and believes that their presence can help Cakra. In a desperate attempt to become a leader, Cakra eventually leads his people through the dry season, but failed miserably. The villagers, angry that Cakra has spurned his advances, asked for his responsibility. Cakra reveals that he wants to be left alone. Laksmi comforts Cakra, but reluctantly hurts her. Birawa is shocked, and at first attempt to persuade him to endure. Meanwhile, people who dislike Cakra supports Galuh to seize the leadership. And apparently Galuh uses the situation to disturbs Cakra’s nearest people, including Laksmi.
Who is Galuh? Why does he add bitterness to Cakra’s life intentionally?
