" Aurelia, notes for a film " is a journey diary. A journey made in 2013 along the Via Aurelia by two filmmakers, Katia Viscogliosi and Francis Magnenot, on the tracks of the father of Katia Viscogliosi. In 1951, when he was 13 years old, Franco had left Italy to look for better chances abroad.
The reality filmed in 2013 gets blend with the childhood memories of Katia Viscogliosi, and with the thoughts of her companion who follows the road for the first time.
Can we find back our own steps, or the vanished sensations from a kid? Is the present poetic enough to answer to the past?
As it's impossible to bring the world back, filming today remains the only solution to discover it.
