Festival Description: 

The additional 9th Atlanta Award-Qualifying Film Festival, 10th session of the Cinema New York City and New York International Film Festival 11th sessions would be held in Kennesaw State University, Georgia (USA) and New York City in 29th of April, 2023 in 4 screening rooms. This is a global industry real event held together with the other wirld wide screenings in 63 world’s cities and countries. It will bring new films and audiences together in locales that are international centers of the arts, creating a meeting place for filmmakers and movie fans. Welcome to screening network and screen your film in different locations at one time!
Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a public research University in the state of Georgia with two campuses in the Atlanta metropolitan area, one in Kennesaw and the other in Marietta on a combined 581 acres (235 ha) of land. The school was founded in 1963 by the Georgia Board of Regents using local bonds and a federal space-grant during a time of major Georgia economic expansion after World War II. KSU also holds classes at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Dalton State College, and in Paulding County (Dallas). The total enrollment exceeds 43,000 students making KSU the second-largest university by enrollment in Georgia while also having the largest freshman class in the state as well.

Atlanta Award-Qualifying Film Festival is an international film festival with a special focus on the region of USA/Canada:

(New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, Dallas, San Jose, Austin, Jacksonville, San Francisco, Indianapolis, Columbus, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver), shining an international spotlight on films, talent and future projects from the region.

High quality programming, a strong industry segment, an educational and networking platform for young filmmakers and thus generated presence of the international film industry, film authors and media representatives alongside a paying audience of over 20,000, confirm its status as the leading film festival in the region, recognised by both professionals and the wider audiences.

A selection of the jury's favorite films will be screened at our annual event. Entrants of chosen screening films will be notified prior to the event.

Works-in-progress and films with distribution are accepted.

There is no Premiere policy for short films and music videos, they may have screened at other Festivals and/or online.
 
5. Submission Fee 
All  submissions for Film Festival are to be paid by credit card. The submission fee is non-refundable.
 
6. Selection of Films 
Submissions are reviewed and selected under the following criteria: 
- Quality of narrative and production values 
- Independent nature of the production
