World International Film Festival funding film production
Finding funding for all aspects of film production can be very difficult even for famous and well connected filmmakers. These problems are felt even harder by small, independent productions who often struggle with a lack of budget for many aspects of filming, producing and dispensing a film to audiences. At the World International Film Festival there are multiple sectors available online all year - which can help independent individuals or organisations working in film access funding designed for the various different aspects of making a movie.
Of course without the production of the film itself this would not be necessary so an investor's sector has been established at the World International Film Festival. The goal of this is to help navigate the first obstacle of getting a film made which is finding the initial funding to hire and rent everything needing to create a movie. Film festivals such as this are about giving talented individuals exposure and recognition for their work. The investors sector will help these creative people connect with others who share their passion for their work who have the ability to finance interesting projects that are yet to be made. Searching for financing to make a film can be extraordinarily difficult but with the goal of increasing contact between filmmakers and investors the sector is hoping to make it much easier. The ‘Marketing sector’ has been set up so that directors and other independent film enthusiasts can obtain funds that wouldn’t otherwise be available to them in order to advertise for their film to increase its exposure. The aim of festivals is to help new talent emerging in the world of cinema, but without proper marketing this is extremely difficult and the goal of this sector is to find small films an avenue to send their work into the world with a much wider audience.
The third sector which is also available online all throughout the year - focuses on ‘Film Distribution’ and helps to create a more comprehensive network of connections between the festival’s creative filmmakers and those with the money to finance their distribution. Like marketing it is vital that small films can receive money to distribute their product effectively so that it may reach and connect with a greater number of people. Doing this will help everyone involved: from the filmmaker who can go on to receive more recognition for their work to the distributer who gets to expand their network of filmmakers and this could be a great resources for filmmakers to increase the stature of their work.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN NO EVENT
All the submission materials like DVD, BLU-RAY or DCP's can be submitted to us online through the Internet.
Will the festival, its organizers, employees, officers, directors sponsors, or participating organizations be liable to the entrant or any other party for: (1) damage to or loss of the work or any other materials submitted to the festival; or (2) any incidental, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind (including, but not limited to, lost revenues or profits) arising from or relating to the work, including, but not limited to, exhibition delays, regardless of whether the festival was advised, had other reason to know, or in fact knew of the possibility thereof. The festivals aggregate liability for direct damages under this agreement will not exceed the entry fee.
The Festival will not be held responsible for any inclusion of uncleared materials in your film. It is the sole responsibility of the entity submitting the project to secure permission from the copyright holder of the material in question, whether it is music, stock footage, or any other elements that could violate an existing copyright. I hereby warrant that all consents and permissions have been obtained from all persons, actors, producers and copyright holders for the aforementioned material and all other components included in the film. I hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Festival and its officers and directors harmless from all liabilities, claims, demands, causes of action and damages including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs arising from any breach of this Agreement by me or the Company and any intellectual property infringement actions arising from the Film, the actors and content therein.
We don't accept KDM encrypted DCP's.
By submitting my film, I am indicating that I understand, comply with and agree to the Terms of Entry and the eligibility requirements.
Submissions are only accepted through our Filmfreeway or other online accounts.
An entrant must accept our prescreening process;
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless World International Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
Apply online via FilmFreeway to our Festival and, after fully completing the online entry form, click “submit”. Please note the online entry form will require you to submit a password-protected URL that links to your film in order to be completed, so plan accordingly and be sure the film has been fully uploaded and the link and password work prior to filling out your online entry form.
All physical entry materials received by the Festival will not be returned and will be destroyed or discarded by the Festival.
Great care will be taken with entries while with us, however we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage incurred en route, or due to normal wear and tear
