It is a long Documentary film with a duration of 78 minutes, It presents some facts about LGBTQ community by interviewing some Syrians, listening to their stories, knowing when they first started to feel differently towards people of the same sex, in addition to the reasons that they think made them part of LGBTQ community, who do they blame in case of remorse, or what is the main reason in case they accept who they are, whether he or she was homosexual or transgender, we also asked them about their perspective towards Religion and Community, and what do they seek from both of them.. most of the answers were shocking.
These interviews were made with five people belong to the LGBTQ community :
Fou’ad: Gay\ Damascus.
Rasha: Lesbian \ Damascus.
Qusai: Gay \ Beirut.
Zein: Gay \ Turkey.
Danny: Transgender\Damascus.
Interview num six was with:
- Mayar: a case of what is known medically as 'Pseudohermaphroditism' (he was born with genital mutilation – a female transformed into a male) \ Damascus, where he is being treated wrongly by community which sees him as Transgender, because of our community refusal of this phenomenon and the ignorance of its nature, whereas hermaphrodite is a congenital flaw, not a personal desire, we have explained the difference medically.
The film presents the perspective of:
- A psychiatrist who explained some direct and indirect reasons behind the changing of sexual desires to reach homosexuality.
- A gynecologist who defined Homeopathic phenomena, in addition to its forms and types.
- A genital surgeon who defined the reasons of “Pseudohermaphroditism” and methods of treatment, and the reason why our Syrian community consider the person with such case as a transgender or a homosexual.
- The perspectives of both religions in Syria, the Islamic and the Christian, according to this subject.
- A lawyer specializing in homicide cases, And the first Shari'a judge in Damascus, who both clarified that the Syrian law is based on Islamic Shari’a which rejects Homosexuality.
- In addition to opinions of some of the public about the rejection or acceptance of Homosexuals or Transgenders.
