The Venice MoSut Filmfest (VMF) celebrates the best that cinema has to offer. The venue is a beautiful boutique Venetian ristorante located beside Rio di Noale canal where it'll be transformed into a magical cinematic experience during the VMF celebration. Showcasing films from established masters and emerging storytellers, the Festival welcomes films from around the world. Next session of Venice MoSut Filmfest would be held on June 28-30th 2019 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
Venice MoSut Filmfest would be held on March 6-8th 2020 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) just right after the yearly Carnivale celebration in picturesque Venice in Italy.
Offering an impressive selection of competitive and non-competitive programming, the Venice MoSut Filmfest brings films both domestic and international to silver screens in Europe.
The main mission of Venice MoSut Filmfest is to bring the projects to big groups of investors and sponsors who are constantly searching for the possibility to invest funds in different international projects like screenplays, feature and short films and new festivals.
A selection of films will be nominated for awards in different categories, and will receive official selection laurels. The winners of the awards will be announced at the festival and our website the following day.
Our judging panel consists of filmmakers, producers and other individuals who work in the film industry. We also offer writing critiques and reviews for your film.
Entries accepted as Official Selections will be accorded a laurel. Final winners will be awarded a Winner's laurel and trophy.

This is a green festival: only online submissions are accepted.
᛫ There is no restrictions on theme, genre or author.
᛫ We do not accept films that were funded by unethical and immoral methods.
᛫ Films must have been produced after 1/1/2014
᛫ Submissions in languages other than English must be subtitled in English.
᛫ Winning films will be asked to provide Italian subtitles.
᛫ You must declare to possess all rights to screen your movie.
᛫ World and Italy Premiers are not required. Your film should not have premiered in Venice.
᛫ Filmmakers must deliver final format (as indicated) for festival screening. No exceptions will be permitted.
᛫ Digital marketing materials should be made available and permissible to be used for our marketing purposes (website and social media platforms).
᛫ Provide at least one high resolution image (1920 x 1080 or higher) for the use of festival's promotional brochures or publicity. More images for print are recommended so we have a choice.
᛫ All entries must obtain the appropriate copyright clearances (i.e. music, archive footage, images, etc). Failure to do so will result in the entry being disqualified from the competition.
᛫ The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
᛫ I authorize Venice Mosut Filmfest to exhibit my film if selected. I confirm that an exhibition copy will be made available in a required format for screening during the 2020 festival.
᛫ I certify that I hold all necessary rights for the submission of this film/video to Venice Mosut Filmfest and that all rights and clearances have been made. This film is not subject to any litigation nor is threatened by any litigation.
᛫ By Agreeing to these Rules and Terms, I transfer to the Venice Mosut Filmfest the right to use excerpts of the submitted film, its stills, and trailers, for the purposes of publicity and marketing of the film at the 2020 festival, and for other non-commercial uses related to the promotion of the 2020 festival.
᛫ You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Venice Mosut Filmfest from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits and publicity.
᛫ Venice Mosut Filmfest will not refund any fees if the filmmaker fails to submit the film in the correct category. Films submitted without the correct fees or proper submission media may be deemed ineligible at the discretion of the programming director or executive director. The festival does not cover any of the expenses incurred by the filmmaker.
᛫ We require an official trailer or poster, synopsis (150 words minimum) and a link to your film. Please select the correct category while submitting to avoid disqualification.
᛫ We reserve the right to re-assign films to the appropriate category.
᛫ Venice Mosut Filmfest may without advance notice amend these Rules & Terms from time to time. Each and every such amendment shall be become effective immediately. It is your responsibility to periodically check for updates of these Rules & Terms.
